The next SLBA General Meeting is on Sunday the 26th of September 2010 4-7pm at Community Base 113 Queens Road Brighton.

SLBA to meet the Sierra Leone High Commissioner!

SLBA has been invited to a meeting with the Sierra Leone High Commissioner to the UK on the 5th of September. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss plans for the up coming 50th Independent Anniversary in April 2011 . All Sierra Leone Organizations in the south east have also been invitend to this meeting. The High Commissioner is also planning a vist to Brighton to meet members of the Sierra Leone Brighton Association. Watch this space for more update.

The occasion of our beloved country’s 50^th Independence Anniversary gives all Sierra Leoneans and friends of Sierra Leone an ideal opportunity to come together as one. SLBA is therefore calling on all Sierra Leoneans in Sussex UK to come together and brainstorm towards making this event a memorable and historic Golden Jubilee celebration. Its about time for us to speak with one voice! Let us put back the 'ONE' in Sierra Leone.
